Our Worship and Service Times

All Saints’ Wickham Terrace is a parish in the catholic tradition of Anglicanism. Our central act of worship is the Parish High Mass at 9.30am on a Sunday. The service uses traditional language and includes a range of beautiful choral music from across the centuries, sung by our professional choir. Incense is used and there is a sermon preached. The service is followed by refreshments in the All Saints’ Centre next to church. The service can last up to 1hour 30 minutes.

Our early morning Mass on a Sunday at 7.30 is shorter and does not involve incense or a choir. The language is traditional and we use the English Missal. Hymns are accompanied by the organ. A sermon is preached. The service lasts apporximately 1 hour.

Evensong and Benediction is a beautiful service of prayer, music and reflection. A musical setting of choral evensong is sung, along with the Magnificat, Nunc Dimittis and an anthem. Time is spent in front of the Blessed Sacrament before Benediction is given. The service lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Our weekday Mass of the Day at 12.15pm is a said Low Mass. It uses modern language and there is no sermon. The service usually lasts 30 minutes.
