At least one of the couple should be a baptized Christian.  If you do not meet this criteria we would be delighted to talk to you about baptism and what this involves.

I am afraid not.  We are an Anglican Church, and the Canons which govern us state that you can only be married by an Anglican priest who is currently licensed or authorized in this diocese.  If you have a friend who is an Anglican priest and you would like them to marry you or be involved in the service this may be possible.

When you pay your deposit, you secure the date in our diary.  You are also booking a priest, any associated musicians and other staff required.  We have a contractual obligation to them, and your deposit goes towards these non-recoverable costs.

Hopefully not! We understand that plans can change and we will try our best to work with you.  However, the deposit you pay only guarantees the date you agree at the time of booking.

Getting married is a huge commitment and we have a duty and responsibility to ensure that you fully understand and are prepared for marriage as it is understood in the Christian church.  We also need to check you are legally entitled to get married here.

This varies from couple-to-couple but and whether you are getting married in church or at your own venue. and the final rehearsal.  It may be more often depending on your personal circumstances.

Generally, yes. The Anglican Church of Australia allows a priest, with the permission of a Bishop, to marry divorced persons. However, you will need to be prepared to have a conversation about your previous marriage, and why it failed. You will also need to provide court documentation to prove your are legally divorced.
