A Wonderful All Saints’ Sunday…
We were blessed on Sunday to have 3 new members of the congregation join us. Scott was received, and Jason and William confirmed, by Archbishop Jeremy who presided at Solemn High Mass.
Mass included the dedication of our new Book of Remembrance, and members of the Military and Veterans Association joined Chaplain James Hall who lead us in our prayers.
We were delighted to be joined by Frs. Rodney, who preached, and Peter, who led our intercessions.
The service marked the first use of our new state-of-the art live stream system. The parish have invested to ensure our worship in all its glory can be shared far and wide!
Music was no doubt a highlight, with the massed choirs of Holy Trinity Fortitude Valley and ASWT joining to singa spectacular Mass composed by our Director of Music, Tom Holownia. We also heard a new motet setting of Timete Dominum by Guy Gorwood, one of our scholars. John Rotar’s postlude rounded of a beautiful service in style with accompanying brass.
Afterwards we enjoyed a meal in celebration of this special occasion.
